Inspired by his father, William Oscar Olsen’s, life-long rock collection, our founder, Richard Arthur Olsen, started collecting his own rocks and mining displays. As a popular Idaho attraction, our displays feature fine rocks, minerals, and gemstones from around the world. These collections not only bring the past alive but help us gain a better understanding of the evolution of our planet.
