Idaho’s Mammoth Cave will be open for summer tours, starting May 4th, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m, 7 days a week, including all major holidays.

After Labor Day (September 2nd), we will switch to weekends only (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays) before we officially close for the winter in October.

Includes all three attractions – Idaho’s Mammoth Cave tour, the Shoshone Bird Museum of Natural History, and the Richard Arthur Olsen Museum of Natural History

12 years and under – $9.00
5 years and under – Free

There is a good trail and lanterns are provided. If you have flashlights they are always good to bring along. Wearing a light jacket is recommended. The self-guided tour takes about 1/2 hour. You walk about 1/4 mile in and 1/4 mile out. Reservations are not required. Please arrive before 5 p.m for the last tours of the day before closing. We are not handicap accessible. Dogs are not allowed.
