It was amazing! You really feel like a real explorer going into the cave. The museum was awesome too! So much artifacts!
Cave was humongous, generously named and truly impressive. It just kept going. Well worth the drive and the tour. Bird museum was awesome too. Great place for the kiddos and parents! Even with it being 90 in July the cave was a very brisk 40 degrees.
Packed full of historic art, Aztec & Myan artifacts, dinosaur bones, taxidermied animals from across the world and exciting spelunking adventures!
The place is amazing. It was one of the most impressive places I visited when I was in Idaho!
Loved it! The museum was soooo full of stuff!! And we thought the cave walk was fun!!
Cave is a short hike. Lanters are provided. Bring a coat. The museum has a ton of animals and artifacts. One of the most unique museum’s I have ever seen. It was unexpected for sure…
You walk in, they hand you flashlights, you explore! So much fun discovering all they have to offer. The bird museum is the Smithsonian of the desert.
Great place if in the area. The cave is well maintained and safe for kids and long enough to deserve the name. The real gem is the museum; what an eclectic collection and a great way to display it in a circular building! An overall incredible collection in one place!
Definitely a hidden gem! We spent about three hours here and didn’t get to see everything. Looking forward to visiting again.
Educational and radical. Kids and I had an amazing time.
This place is so eclectic and absolutely fascinating. Definitely worth the stop!!!
Massive cave was super cool! The cave went on for what seems like forever, plus it was a self-guided tour with a flashlight so the place was pitch black without them. There was also a large, unique collection of taxidermy and local artifacts. Definitely, temperature was cool in the cave so bring a jacket.
Amazing collection of everything not just birds. Highly recommend visiting and the cave is amazing and deep as well.
Highly recommend stopping here. The cave is amazing!
My family and I visited Mammoth Cave and museum today. I have lived in Pocatello for over 40 years and have never been there. It was incredible!! Well worth the drive and admission fee which was $10 for adults, $5 for kids and 6 and under are free. The cave was so awesome and the…
The weirdest place I’ve ever been to in all my years of world travel. The cave is cool with great access and the lights they provide are excellent. The cave is worth the price alone…then you walk into the museum and say WHAAAAT? Two headed rabbits? Dinosaur bones? A stuffed giraffe? African masks? Vintage firearms?…
The whole family enjoyed the cave, which is a national treasure. The museum had hundreds of ancient artifacts, and filled with rich history, that was very educational.
Unique meusum with a little bit of everything from Idaho and further and marvelous natural cavern. Take a lite coat or jacket, it is a little chilly.
Amazing cave, loads of neat birds milling around. Grab a lantern and explore!
Granddaughter s loved it they got to be the tour guides and the cat led the way. They loved the museum. 7and 10 years old.Grandpa wants to go back and spend more time in the museum. Old and awesome.
My kids had so much fun. They’ve been asking me to bring them back all week
A unique cave experience. They also have a museum with thousands of items from around the world.
$10 bucks for cave and museum. Museum is full from ceiling to floor with fossils and stuff animals. All types of artifacts. Outside has various types of memorabilia. There are also peacocks and emus on site.
Cool, weird place in the middle of nowhere. The cave was awesome but the little museum full of crazy stuff was my favorite.
We stumbled onto this place and were pleasantly surprised. The cave was cool and the museum was really nifty. It is jampacked with interesting things to look at. It was a great value.
Wasn’t sure what to expect driving in, but really happy we stopped. It just opened today and it worth the $10.00 a person (cash or cheque). Cave was cool to walk in and see, it is massive and the museum is an interesting extra with artifacts from floor to ceiling. Check out the QR codes…
